Bright Side Presents produces and tour manages productions for independent performers. Our mission is to shine a spotlight on independent artists by producing high-quality entertainment that resonate with regional and diverse audiences across Australia. We believe that laughter is the best medicine, and we're committed to bringing joy and entertainment to communities across the country.

Bright Side was founded in 2023 by Shannon Thiel, a Melbourne based Producer and Tour Manager. Shannon has been independently producing shows since 2009, In 2014 Shannon won the Best Emerging Producer award at the Melbourne Fringe Festival. 

 

In 2023, Bright Side produced five productions in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, one of which received a nomination for Most Outstanding Show and was awarded the Pinder Prize. Plus five productions that toured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2023 and two more for Melbourne fringe. 2024 is shaping up to be even bigger and better with new Festivals and Artists.
